A federal district court in New York denied Big Fish Entertainment LLC and ReelzChannel LLC’s motion to dismiss A&E Television Networks LLC’s action for trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and unfair competition relating to “On Patrol: Live,” which A&E claims is virtually identical to its “Live PD” television show. The court said that A&E adequately stated claims for copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition.
