A federal district court in Florida granted Beach Town Real Estate LLC’s motion for summary judgment on Affordable Aerial Photography Inc.’s direct and secondary copyright infringement claims. The court said that the photographs were reposted on an individual’s social media account, not Beach Town’s account. And the court found no evidence to suggest that Beach Town intentionally induced others to infringe on the work, or that Beach Town had a right to supervise or control the individual.
