A federal district court in Georgia denied most of Sweetwater Brewing Company LLC and others’ motions for summary judgment on an artist and designer’s copyright infringement action related to a logo and associated artwork. The court denied Sweetwater’s motion for summary judgment on the artist’s actual damages theory, granted in part some defendants’ motion for partial summary judgment as to the breach of fiduciary duty claim and otherwise denied their motion, and denied in full the trustee defendants’ motion for summary judgment.
