A federal district court in Florida granted Consequence Sound LLC’s motion for summary judgment on Great Bowery Inc.’s copyright infringement claim on the grounds that Great Bowery lacked standing because a nonparty photographer owned the photograph at issue. The court also found that the parties’ agreements demonstrated that the photographer retained all rights and interests in the photograph, and that the agreement didn’t confer any exclusive rights to Great Bowery.
