A federal district court in New York denied Unchartered Labs Inc. and individuals’ motion to dismiss this copyright infringement action brought by record companies and recorded music businesses. The court said that the companies and businesses stated claims for circumvention of technological measures in violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
