A federal district court in California denied Cargurus Inc.'s motion to dismiss Evox Productions LLC’s action for copyright infringement based on the unauthorized use of photographs on an online platform advertising new and used cars for sale. According to the court, Evox adequately pleaded direct, vicarious, and contributory copyright infringement.
