The Second Circuit vacated in part, affirmed in part, and remanded the decision of a federal district court in New York granting Townsquare Media Inc. judgment on the pleadings on an individual’s action alleging that Townsquare reproduced two videos he created on its hip-hop news website. The appeals court vacated the district court’s judgment as to Townsquare’s use of one video and screenshots from both videos, and affirmed the district court’s judgment as to Townsquare’s use of the second video.
