A federal district court in New York, among other rulings, denied an artist’s in limine motions to exclude the fact and expert witness testimonies from her copyright infringement action against Estate Auctions Inc., WorthPoint Corporation, and two individuals. The court found that the credibility of the fact witness wasn’t a legitimate basis to exclude the testimony, and said that the witness’s testimony was based on his personal knowledge of the underlying events.
