A federal district court in Washington granted Bungie Inc.’s motion for summary judgment on its claim that an individual violated the Digital Millenium Copyright Act by posing as a Bungie employee and submitting fraudulent takedown notices. The court found that the defendant admitted his takedown requests were fraudulent and that he had “gravely messed up and fully accept[s]” fault.
