Case: Copyrights/Attorneys’ Fees (W.D. Wash.)

A federal district court in Washington granted in part and denied in part requests for attorneys’ fees in Promedev LLC’s copyright infringement and breach of contract action against MaXXiMedia Advertising Co. and Imagipix Corporation. The court said that neither party could be considered the prevailing party with respect to the contract claims, but that Promedev was entitled to attorneys’ fees as to the copyright claims.
