The Fifth Circuit affirmed the decision of a federal district court in Louisiana denying Resnik Music Group ‘s motion to dismiss and granting Vetter Communications Corporation summary judgment on this action relating to the copyright ownership of the song “Double Shot (Of My Baby’s Love).” According to the appeals court, the district court didn’t err by holding that Vetter is the sole owner of Double Shot’s copyright interest.
