A federal district court in Missouri lifts a stay and enters judgment in the amount of $500,000,000 in commercial real estate company CoStar Group Inc.'s copyright infringement action against Xceligent Inc. CoStar claims that Xceligent infringed its databases and its copyrighted photographs. The court finds in CoStar’s favor. Xceligent remains prohibited from infringing any CoStar’s copyrights in the photographs, or selling, transferring, assigning, or making available any portion of the Xceligent databases to any entity or individual other than CoStar unless Xceligent identifies, segregates, and permanently removes and deletes all CoStar content.
