The final request for proposals Thursday kicks off the final stage of competition to manage the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research for up to $89 billion over 25 years.
The release of the RFP by the National Cancer Institute will attract bidders for the follow-on contract at the biomedical research center, and proposals are due Nov. 21.
According to a letter accompanying the RFP, NCI expects “the initial ordering period will start on or around Spring 2024 and the first task order will be awarded simultanteously with the award of the parent contract.”
