CamelBak Rival Can’t Pause Water Bottle Infringement Suit

A CamelBak Products LLC competitor can’t halt the hydration pack maker’s patent-infringement case against it while an administrative tribunal probes the validity of two patents, a federal Western District of Arkansas judge ruled Wednesday.

CamelBak would be stuck in drawn-out litigation over the accused water bottle designs if the court granted Zak Designs Inc.'s request to pause the case pending action from the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, Judge Timothy L. Brooks wrote.
