Triller Fight Club Sued Over Use of Triangle-Shaped Ring (1)

Social video app Triller Inc. and owner Ryan Kavanaugh are facing claims by bare knuckles fight promoter BYB Extreme Fighting Series LLC that they copied its patented triangle-shaped fighting surface for use in their competing Triller Fight Club LLC.

The complaint, filed by BYB and Lights Out Productions LLC, alleges Lights Out holds a design patent, copyright registration, and trademark registration for the “TRIGON” triangle ring design, and BYB is the exclusive licensee of its intellectual property interests.
