Brooks Sports Says Brooks Brothers Sneakers Infringe Trademarks

Brooks Brothers allegedly infringed Brooks Sports’ trademarks and breached a coexistence agreement by introducing a line of athletic shoes, a complaint filed in Seattle federal court says.

Brooks Brothers’ expansion into the market for “athletic and active lifestyle footwear, apparel, and accessories” is likely to confuse potential Brooks Sports customers and divert sales, according to the Monday complaint.
