Broadcom Hit With Two Patent Suits Over Mesh Wi-Fi Technology

A Texas patent owner filed two patent-infringement lawsuits against Broadcom Inc. over the creation and sale of mesh networking and Wi-Fi-compliant devices.

Broadcom’s products incorporate methods for radio transmission, wireless networking, and data communication technology, according to two separate lengthy lawsuits filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Redwood Technologies LLC said the accused products infringe a combined 15 patents.
