A Florida-based patent owner sued British company Kino-Mo Ltd, doing business as Hypervsn, and its Texas retailer over the creation and sale of holographic display devices and systems.
Hypervsn and Yoongli LLC’s products utilize systems for rotational displays that infringe US Patent Nos. 8,284,214 and 8,411,108, according to Spin Screen Inc.’s 173-page complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. Spin Screen said the infringing products include a wall display, a 3D human holographic system, and mobile applications.
