New Jersey-based Security Validation sued Boston HelpDesk on Monday, arguing that the IT company unilaterally launched plans that were formed under their joint venture to provide tech and cybersecurity support to hotel companies.
SecVal is suing Boston HelpDesk in the US District Court of New Jersey for breach of fiduciary duty, self-dealing, breach of contract, and misappropriation of confidential information, among several other charges. The New Jersey company argues that it suffered irreparable harm when Boston HelpDesk took plans from the joint venture for itself.
