Musk’s Boring Co. Sued by Nevada Driller Over Trademarks

Elon Musk’s Boring Co. was sued for trademark infringement by a Nevada drilling company that said it started using the “Boring Company” name more than a decade before Musk founded his company.

The Boring Company LLC told the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada on Tuesday that the Musk-founded company’s similar name has caused confusion, and that Boring Co. has continued using the name and filed to register its own federal trademarks despite its knowledge of the Nevada company’s rights.
