Boeing Wins Dismissal of Alabama Aircraft’s Trade Secrets Claim

Boeing Co. doesn’t owe Alabama Aircraft Industries Inc. for the alleged misappropriation of trade secrets that occurred when they worked together to bid on a KC-135 Stratotanker maintenance contract for the US Air Force.

AAI already received a full recovery under a contract breach claim at trial in February 2020, and can’t now pursue the trade secrets claim for an injury arising from the same course of conduct, Judge R. David Proctor of the US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama said in a Wednesday opinion dismissing the claim.
