Boeing won a court order ruling that an aerospace startup breached their contract by not repaying two loans the company argued should be extinguished because of Boeing’s alleged misappropriation of trade secrets involving flight technology.

The aerospace giant was granted summary judgment on its counterclaims that Zunum Aero Inc. breached their contract by not repaying two loans totaling $9 million, according to an order filed May 9 in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
