Bobcat Fights Caterpillar, Lawmaker Arguments Against Import Ban

Doosan Bobcat North America Inc. said competitor Caterpillar Inc.‘s size, domestic footprint, and role in infrastructure shouldn’t shield it from an import ban by the US International Trade Commission, arguing enforcing its construction-machine control patents serves the public interest.

Bobcat’s Monday filing responded to objections Caterpillar and three members of Congress raised to its proposed exclusion and cease-and-desist orders.
