Blippi Studio Accuses Orlando Impersonator of Trademark Theft

The studio behind popular YouTube kids channels Blippi and Cocomelon is suing an Orlando company that bills itself as the nation’s “top Blippi impersonator.”

Moonbug Entertainment Ltd. on Friday sued Barry Dean Long and Kid Party Pros, accusing them of infringing trademarks associated with Blippi—a show with more than 20 million YouTube subscribers, featuring Stevin John as Blippi, an adult with child-like mannerisms in a bow-tie and suspenders who performs a famous song about a construction excavator.
