BGC Inc., a nonprofit founded to increase Black women’s representation in tech, won an injunction in California federal court against Black Girls Code Inc., a company allegedly advertising an identical service that confuses consumers.
Kimberly Bryant founded the organization in 2011 under the name Black Girls Code Inc., and was suspended indefinitely by the board.
