Cloud security company Bitglass Inc. accused competitor Netskope Inc. in San Francisco federal court of misappropriating trade secrets stolen by a former Bitglass employee.
According to the complaint, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, former Bitglass executive Joseph Green left for Netskope in 2019, and downloaded a large number of confidential files on his last day. Bitglass says these files included trade secrets such as training materials, organization charts, customer feedback, employee compensation information, and details on future products.
