Bitcoin Mining Company Accused of Infringing Data Center Patents

US Data Mining Group Inc. was accused by a power management company of operating data centers that infringe the company’s patents for adjusting power delivery and consumption.

Lancium LLC brought its complaint in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas against US Data Mining Group, doing business as US Bitcoin (USBTC), as well as US Bitcoin’s subsidiaries US Mining Infrastructure Operations LLC and US Data King Mountain LLC.

US Bitcoin and its subsidiaries operate data centers that mine cryptocurrency by consuming electricity.
