The agency in charge of developing health technology is planning to use a small business program aimed at transitioning innovations to government and commercial users to support research into topics like tools for autonomous surgery and microneedle patches for drug delivery.
The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health listed a set of topics in a call for proposals under the Small Business Innovation Research program to “help ARPA-H make revolutionary progress in science, technology, or systems,” according to a statement from Director Dr. Renee Wegrzyn.
