Slow spending on this governmentwide network modernization contract, which has obligated only 7.4% of its $50 billion ceiling nearly halfway through the contract lifecycle, triggered the federal government’s main buying agency to push ahead on its planning to swap in a new vehicle.
The existing Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract isn’t set to expire until 2032, and the General Services Administration is already developing its replacement.
