Bieber, Britney Choreographer Wants Another Try at Fortnite Suit

A celebrity choreographer will seek another shot at his lawsuit against Epic Games Inc., which he claims used his copyrighted dance moves without his consent to create an “emote"—a movement for Fortnite characters.

Kyle Hanagami, who has choreographed for performers including Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, and BTS, filed a notice of appeal Friday with the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His suit was dismissed in August by a California federal court.
