The House would impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas under H. Res. 863 for “willfully and systemically” refusing to comply with immigration laws and breaching public trust.

The two-count impeachment says Mayorkas’ actions have “significantly contributed to unprecedented levels” of migrants entering the country illegally and that he has breached the public trust by making false statements to Congress regarding the border situation.
