Drone maker SZ DJI Technology Co. and helicopter manufacturer Bell Textron Inc. are working on a settlement over patent infringement allegations concerning avionics software, according to a court filing.
The companies sought a stay in the case to continue their discussions, according to the order filed Wednesday granting their request in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The judge stayed the case and ordered the companies to file settlement papers with the court by April 5.
