Bandai Namco Sues Retro Game Maker Over ‘Pac-Man’ Games

Bandai Namco sued a company that makes updated versions of retro video games, saying it infringes its rights in “Pac-Man” and “Ms. Pac-Man,” according to a complaint filed in a California federal court.

An AtGames Holdings Ltd. version of Pac-Man exceeds the company’s license with Bandai, and its version of Ms. Pac-Man was never authorized at all, the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California alleges.
