Vampire Family Brands LLC, a wine and food producer, sued an Australian wine company on Tuesday for trademark infringement over selling a Dracula-themed red wine blend.
Vampire Family Brands says Treasury Wine Estates Ltd. “willfully decided” to infringe its marks because “they are the largest premium wine company in the world and have the money to pay attorneys to fight this out in court while they cash in” on Vampire Family Brands’s marks, the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California says.
