German automaker Audi AG accused CarParts.com Inc. of infringing its trademarks by selling counterfeit auto parts and accessories bearing the Audi trademarks on its websites and eBay storefront without authorization.
In a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, Audi alleges that CarParts.com used the carmaker’s famous trademarks such as Audi, Quattro, and vehicle model names including A4 on counterfeit product listings. Audi said it sent a cease-and-desist letter in April 2025 but received no response from CarParts.com.
