A skeptical DC Circuit grilled medical technology trade groups Friday over their bid to revive a challenge to the Library of Congress exempting medical device repair from an anti-hacking copyright statute.

Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance and the Advanced Medical Technology Association argued the Library essentially exempted blatant infringement during a nearly two-hour oral argument at the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
