Atomic Protocol Systems Seeks Dismissal of Crypto Hack Suit

Claims against open-source software developer Atomic Protocol Systems OU related to a hacker’s theft of $100 million from its Atomic Wallet cryptocurrency platform should be dismissed on jurisdictional and forum-selection grounds, the company said in a court filing.

Plaintiffs Robert Meany, Graham Dickinson, John Briscoe, and 18 others alleged in a proposed class action filed in the US District Court for the District of Colorado that Atomic Wallet’s lax security practices led to the theft of funds from 5,500 cryptocurrency wallets.
