AT&T, Ericsson Win Networking Patent Fight Appeal (1)

AT&T Mobility LLC and Ericsson Inc. secured their victory in a patent infringement case by defeating a video tech solutions company’s appeal.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Aug. 12 upheld a lower court’s finding that the companies didn’t infringe Iridescent Networks Inc.'s patent describing a communication system that guarantees on-demand bandwidth and minimizes data delay.
