AT&T Units, Patent Owner Agree to Shave Networking Patent Claims

Adaptive Spectrum and Signal Alignment Inc. and four AT&T units told a Texas judge they agreed to drop multiple patent infringement allegations in their dispute concerning telecommunications technology.

Plaintiff ASSIA and the AT&T units agreed to dismiss all claims and counterclaims related to US Patent No. 7,428,669, according to a joint motion to dismiss filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
