The parties reached an agreement in principle days before a jury trial was set to begin, according to a Tuesday motion to pause the lawsuit. The US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas granted the stay the same day.
The settlement comes one day after Judge Rodney Gilstrap denied the parties’ joint request to delay the trial due to witness availability conflicts.
