AT&T Hit With Patent Infringement Suit Over DSL Technology (1)

Adaptive Spectrum and Signal Alignment Inc. sued AT&T Inc. for allegedly infringing four patents by selling equipment that utilizes methods incorporating digital subscriber line (DSL) standards for telecommunications.

ASSIA accused AT&T and its units of infringing its patents after a failed attempt to start licensing discussions, according to the complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
