A lawsuit accusing four AT&T Inc. units, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile USA Inc. of a price-fixing scheme to avoid paying a fair price to use wireless communications patents should move forward, licensing partners handling Asus’s technology told a federal judge.

Celerity IP LLC, Asus Technology Licensing Inc., and Innovative Sonic Ltd. adequately alleged the service providers are conspiring to boycott the patent portfolio unless the three licensing partners meet their demands, the plaintiffs wrote in a Tuesday opposition to the telcos’ motion to dismiss in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
