Arista Networks Inc. share prices slumped after the U.S. International Trade Commission refused to suspend an import ban on some of its computer-networking devices that are part of a patent fight with Cisco Systems Inc.
Arista had asked the trade agency to suspend or temporarily rescind the order after the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office said the two patents that were at the heart of the Cisco case are invalid.
