Apple’s Siri Infringes Patented Voice Technology, Suit Says

Apple Inc.’s Siri voice assistant and Apple Intelligence Siri enhancements infringe seven patents for technology developed by voice software pioneer VoiceBox Technologies, a federal lawsuit said.

VB Assets LLC alleges Siri and related products including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs infringe combinations of seven patents covering fundamental innovations in voice recognition and natural language processing, according to a complaint filed Dec. 13 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
