Apple’s Motions to Move Patent Cases to California Fast-Tracked

Apple Inc. won speedier resolutions of motions to transfer three patent cases out of a federal courthouse in Waco, Texas, in a flurry of orders from the Federal Circuit.

US District Court for the Western District of Texas Judge Alan D. Albright had issued scheduling orders in three cases against Apple that pushed decisions on whether to transfer the cases to the Northern District of California until after discovery on the merits and additional briefing.
