Apple Watch Import Ban Survives Presidential Review Period (1)

Apple Inc. won’t get the Biden administration’s help in fighting a ban on imports of Apple Watches that can monitor a user’s heart rate, as the president declined to veto the US International Trade Commission’s limited exclusion order, AliveCor Inc. said Tuesday.

This is the first time an ITC limited exclusion order against Apple has cleared the 60-day presidential review period that follows such order, according to AliveCor’s statement.
