Apple Tries to Escape $503 Million Patent Infringement Verdict

Apple Inc. would get a $503 million jury verdict levied against it tossed if the Federal Circuit agrees with a patent tribunal decision that VirnetX Inc.'s patents are invalid, attorneys for both sides said during Thursday arguments.
