Apple, Masimo Push for Judgments as Trade-Secret Trial Nears End

Apple Inc. and Masimo Corp. each urged a federal judge to reject the other’s bid for judgments on various aspects of their trade-secrets clash over technologies in certain Apple Watch models, with closing arguments in their billion-dollar trial set for Wednesday.

Masimo and co-plaintiff Cercacor Laboratories Inc., a Masimo spinoff that owns certain licensing rights to many Masimo patents, allege that Apple stole trade secrets, including some related to technology that uses light sensors to measure the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream.
