Apple, ImmerVision Seek Pause After Judge Faults iPhone Patent

Apple Inc. and ImmerVision Inc. agreed to pause a lawsuit over panoramic-photo technology after a federal magistrate judge said the only patent claim allegedly infringed by the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max should be thrown out.

The companies asked the US District Court for the District of Delaware in a joint filing Friday to stay all remaining deadlines and cancel their current case schedule while a district judge reviews Magistrate Judge Christopher J. Burke’s report and recommendation.
