Apple, ImmerVision Resolve Two Suits Over Wide-Angle Lens Patent

Apple Inc. and ImmerVision Inc. agreed to end two lawsuits over ultra-wide lenses in several iPhone and iPad models before an appeal of a ruling that invalidated ImmerVision’s asserted patent.

The deal dismissed ImmerVision’s claims and closed the door on renewing them, according to the pair of orders issued Tuesday by Judge Maryellen Noreika in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. No further details were provided.
